Senior Social Media Manager (all gender)

Your mission

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for experienced and creative Senior Social Media Manager who bring expertise, trend sensitivity, and strong analytical thinking to elevate our social media presence. In this role, you will develop cross-platform content strategies, manage high-performing campaigns, and serve as the go-to person for all things related to reach, community building, and platform dynamics – with plenty of room to shape and grow our social media vision. This position is based on-site at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cross-channel social media strategies tailored to the gaming and esports landscape
Conceptualize and produce engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Discord
Plan, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns across major platforms
Analyze campaign performance using defined KPIs and derive actionable insights
Monitor social and community trends as well as conduct competitor analysis
Support pitches, client reporting, and presentations with social media expertise
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Publisher Relations and Product Management

Your profile

Required:

At least 5 years of professional experience in social media management or digital content
Deep expertise in producing, planning, and evaluating social media content
Excellent communication and copywriting skills with a keen sense for platform-specific tone and style
Strong understanding of current trends in social media behavior and digital engagement
Proven experience managing paid campaigns and working with social media tools
Fluency in English and strong proficiency in written and spoken German – you know how to adapt tone and language to different audiences

Preferred:

Experience in an agency setting and/or with gaming and esports projects
Familiarity with agile workflows (e.g., Kanban, Jira, Confluence)
Solid knowledge of analytics and CRM tools

Freaks 4U Gaming sucht erfahrene und kreative Senior Social Media Manager*innen, die mit Expertise, Trendgespür und analytischem Denken unsere Social-Media-Aktivitäten auf das nächste Level bringen. In dieser Rolle entwickelst du kanalübergreifende Content-Strategien, steuerst die Umsetzung performancestarker Kampagnen und bist zentrale Ansprechperson für alle Fragen rund um Reichweite, Community und Plattformdynamiken – mit viel Gestaltungsspielraum. Die Stelle ist in Berlin-Spandau.

Deine Aufgaben:

Entwicklung und Umsetzung kanalübergreifender Social-Media-Strategien im Gaming- und Esports-Umfeld
Konzeption und Produktion innovativer Inhalte für Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube und Discord
Planung, Steuerung und Optimierung von Paid-Social-Kampagnen auf relevanten Plattformen
Analyse und Reporting der Performance anhand definierter KPIs sowie Ableitung konkreter Optimierungsmaßnahmen
Beobachtung von Social- und Community-Trends sowie Durchführung von Wettbewerbsanalysen
Unterstützung bei Pitches, Kundenreportings und Präsentationen
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleg*innen aus Bereichen wie Publisher Relations und Product Management

Dein Profil

Erforderlich:

Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Social Media Management oder Digital Content
Tiefe Kenntnisse in der Produktion, Planung und Auswertung von Social Media Content
Exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, kreative Schreibe und souveräner Umgang mit Plattform-Tonalitäten
Fundiertes Verständnis für Social-Media-Trends und Nutzerverhalten
Erfahrung mit der Steuerung von Paid-Kampagnen und Social Media Tools
Fließende Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch – du beherrschst den richtigen Ton für jede Zielgruppe

Vorteilhaft:

Erfahrung im Agenturumfeld und/oder mit Gaming- bzw. Esports-Projekten
Anwendungserfahrung in agilen Workflows (z. B. Kanban, Jira, Confluence)
Gute Kenntnisse in der Nutzung von Analytics- und CRM-Tools
